Math-trig4: Exp and Log

finite and infinite/continuous growth rate (natural exp. Euler’s Number)

when to use which

Simple -> complicate (easy -> difficult)

Addition and subtraction are easier than multiplication and division.

  • exp and log can help transform multiplication and division into an addition problem. Rate of change -> subtraction of log
  • log can scale down huge / super small numbers into numbers we can easily calculate.
  • lower dimensions from 3D – > 2D, or lower power of polynomials.

Divide and conquer: Parent functions -> general function formats via transformations

General to specific: local studies (restricted domains in trig and calculus)
