“六欲”是中国古代对人类本能欲望和生理需求的概括,泛指眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意(意识)所产生的六种欲望。它常与“七情”并称,意指人之常情,常见说法包括见欲、听欲、香欲、味欲、触欲、意欲,即对视、听、嗅、味、触觉舒适感及心理意念的需求。
 
六欲的具体内涵(常见总结)
根据《吕氏春秋》及后续总结,六欲常指:
  1. 见欲(眼):贪求美丽异性、绚丽颜色或珍奇宝物。
  2. 听欲(耳):贪求悦耳音乐、悦耳话语。
  3. 香欲(鼻):贪求各种香味。
  4. 味欲(舌):贪求美食佳肴、口味美味。
  5. 触欲(身):贪求舒适的穿戴、细滑的肌肤接触等身体享受。
  6. 意欲(意):贪求声色名利、亲情爱情、名声等意识层面的满足
